About the Role

As a Women’s Soccer Media & Outreach Intern, you will:

• Represent Goalside Gossip at NWSL matchdays.

• Distribute roster cards to fans pre-game and promote the newsletter.

• Use exclusive media passes to capture behind-the-scenes content and attend games as part of the media team.

• Create engaging social media posts, write articles, and take photos that showcase the spirit of women’s soccer.

• Interview players and share their stories with our audience.

• Build and work with your “team” of 1-2 peers to execute matchday initiatives.

This role is for the duration of the 2025 NWSL Season (March to November). However, we can work together to find a timeframe that works for you! We encourage everyone to apply.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Loves Women’s Sports: Passionate about the game and the community.

• Is Enthusiastic & Creative: A natural problem-solver with innovative ideas.

• Is Punctual & Organized: Reliable, independent, and capable of leading a small team.

Expectations

• Arrive 1 hour before matchday to distribute materials and engage fans.

• Document games through photography, social media, and written reports.

• Stay professional and adhere to media etiquette.

• Leverage unique QR codes to track outreach success.

• Participate in orientation and regular check-ins.
